Nexafyre ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered web design agency based in Waterloo Region, Ontario, Canada. We build websites for small businesses and startups. You can reach us at info@nexafyre.com.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information when you visit nexafyre.com or contact us about our services.

Information you give us

When you fill in our contact form or book a strategy call, we collect:

• Your name and email address
• Your business name and type (optional)
• The package you're interested in (optional)
• The message you write to us
• Any information you share during a strategy call via Calendly

We use this information only to respond to your enquiry and discuss a potential project. We do not add you to any marketing lists without your explicit consent.

Information collected automatically

If you consent to analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects anonymised data about your visit, including:

• Pages visited and time spent on each page
• How you arrived at our site (e.g. search engine, direct)
• General location (country/city level — not precise)
• Device type and browser

This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. If you decline analytics cookies, none of this data is collected. See our Cookie Policy for full details.

How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry — when you contact us via the form or email, we use your details to reply and discuss your project.
• To improve our website — anonymised analytics data (where consented) helps us understand what's working and what isn't.
• To fulfil a project contract — if you become a client, we will use your contact and business information to deliver the agreed services.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for marketing purposes.

Third-party services

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure website traffic. Data is only collected with your consent (Consent Mode v2). Google may process this data on servers outside Canada. For details, see Google's Privacy Policy.

Calendly

Our Contact page embeds a Calendly booking widget. If you book a strategy call, Calendly collects your name, email, and scheduling information. This is governed by Calendly's Privacy Policy. We receive a copy of the booking details to prepare for the call.

Google Fonts

Our website uses Urbanist via Google Fonts, which is loaded from Google's servers. This may result in Google receiving your IP address as part of the font request. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Data retention

We retain contact form submissions and email correspondence for up to 2 years, or for the duration of a client relationship plus 1 year. After that period, we delete personal information unless we are required by law to retain it.

Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months in our GA4 property (the default setting).

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and, where applicable, the EU/UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate information
• Deletion — ask us to delete your personal information (subject to any legal obligations to retain it)
• Withdrawal of consent — withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any time via our Cookie Settings
• Complaint — lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC) at priv.gc.ca

Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect personal information from loss, theft, and unauthorised access. Our website is served over HTTPS. However, no method of internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

Our services are directed at business owners and are not intended for anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Links to other websites

Our website may contain links to third-party sites (e.g. Calendly, Google). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to read their privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
